There are a couple of kitties that have been popping up in my mind during the last couple of weeks of my kitty obsession whom I could just not place or categorize in any way. They are sort of like the medley of musicians who do not fit into the major instrument families, but make the orchestra complete in my mind.
So decided to give them a go and draw them, because they were knocking really loud for me to finally let them out of my head. So here they are. A quick return of the Latin, a sneak peak into the bohemian French and that morsel of humor.

Though a seemingly simple instrument, it is actually not that easy to play the maracas. However this kitty is a pro. So event though he got kind of carried away by the rhythm, the melody is still sweet.

I once visited Bordeaux, France. One day I was sitting on the quay looking at the river Garonne and all the passersby. There was this guy playing the accordion, lazily sitting on one of the steps, like there was nothing to it. This kitty was born from that moment. The French music, the scenery and that attitude. This is why whenever I think of an accordion I think of France. Come on, most of us do!

I was drawing this kitty while at a park. I was sitting on a bench when suddenly a pigeon jumped up from the ground. It landed on the arm rest right next to me. Tilting its little head was trying to see what I was up to. It was not looking for food, just the most curious art lover of a pigeon that ever existed! This is a portrait, a memento of that little guy.
